Ski all the way around Obertauern

Obertauern’s unique location makes it possible: explore the entire ski area on skis or snowboard – without a car, ski bus or any other means of transport and without having to take the same lift or slope twice.

The Tauernrunde takes you all the way around Obertauern. You can start at almost any point in the ski area and conveniently return to your starting point at the end of the route.

It’s the perfect way to discover Obertauern slope by slope and experience a wide variety of runs and lifts in a single day.

Red or Green – the choice is yours

The Tauernrunde can be skied in two directions:

🔴 Red Tauernrunde
The red route takes you around Obertauern clockwise.

🟢 Green Tauernrunde
The green route takes you around Obertauern counter-clockwise.

Both routes are clearly signposted throughout the ski area and are also marked on the piste map.

Tauernrunde for children

There are also special routes for younger winter sports fans.

The Bobby Runde has been designed especially for children and combines skiing with fun and varied adventure stations.

Older children and anyone looking for a little more action can take on the My Track Runde, featuring additional challenges and sporty highlights.
